Event concept

A casual get-together for all new international students that joined the university. There were food and ice-breaker games to create opportunities for the students to socialise.

Responsibilities

Lots of preparations were carried out in advance of the event as the team's objective was to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for all new students.

The event was advertised weeks before through social media platforms. Meetings were held to discuss the event's progress and get things well organised.

During the event, over 100 students turned up which threw the team off guard. However with proper guidance from the other team leader and me, we managed to pull through to the end smoothly.

It was a fruitful experience as I had to speak infront of 100 odd students. This definitely increased my public speaking skills.
