It gives me great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Miss Melissa Ong Mun Yi. Melissa worked as an Assistant Events Manager, a Corporate Teambuilding Events Company from Sept 17 to April 19.

Melissa’s responsibilities whilst with PulseActiv covered the following:

• Lead & oversee the execution of over 60, small, medium & large teambuilding & sports events including management of each individual event budgets.

  • Provide support for big scale events above 1,000 pax.

  • Hire, develop & train new events interns & events facilitators.

  • Source & negotiate with new vendors & maintain relationships with current vendors.

  • Liaison point with external stakeholders (vendors/supplies) on all event operations issues.

 

Despite previously not having had any practical experience in teambuilding events, during her time here, she took the initiative to constantly research and seek knowledge from others and this saw her being promoted from an events executive to an senior executive to an assistant manager each within a year . She is a motivated individual who is never afraid to voice out her ideas whilst remaining respectful. Always willing to go the extra mile, she is also an excellent team player & leader. During her time here, Melissa received positive feedback and reviews of her professionalism in the execution of events.
